Essential Experience for the Security of the Final Frontier
In 2019 a new arm of the U.S. military was formed called Space Force. The group was formed to help facilitate federal and commercial rocket launches, operate Department of Defense (DOD) satellites – such as GPS for search and rescue missions, monitor for threats, track space debris and much more. They ensure the U.S. maintains its space superiority required to protect against hostile attacks. Haskel is part of these security efforts through our role in the launch process where helium is used for blanketing during fueling.
